Sledding 2024

2024 was a big year for sledding, with the ASSA National Championship race being held in WA. This was my third year in the sport, my first Nationals race and first time racing dogs I had bred myself. I competed in 1 Dog and 2 Dog Scooter classes, while my husband took up bikejoring. Towards the end of the season, I tested out the rig I had refurbished in 2022 and had my first major crash and injury while running a three-dog team. It was also my first year on committee for Running West Sled Dog Club!
